Last updated: September 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wakepoint collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website or use the Wakepoint application and related services (together, the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Account and contact information: your name, work email address, organization, role, and sign-in details.
- Workspace content: messages, tickets, notes, customer records, files, comments, tasks, and other information your organization or its users submit to the Services.
- Integration information: information made available through integrations you or your organization choose to connect, such as email, calendar, chat, CRM, or development tools.
- Usage and device information: log data, browser and device details, approximate location derived from IP address, and information about how you interact with the Services.
- Communications: information you provide when you contact us or request support.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services; authenticate users; sync information across connected work areas; respond to requests; personalize and improve the Services; understand usage and performance; communicate about the Services; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Workspace and customer data
When your organization uses Wakepoint, it controls the workspace content that it submits to the Services. Wakepoint processes that content to provide the Services to the organization, according to its instructions and agreement with us. If you access a workspace through an organization, direct privacy questions about that workspace to the organization that invited you.
4. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, analyze, and operate the Services; with integrations and third parties selected by you or your organization; when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security; and as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our legitimate business interests. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the context of the request, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing communications. To make a request, use the support channel available in your Wakepoint workspace or contact the Wakepoint team through the contact method provided on our website. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the Services, and understand basic website usage. Where required, we will request consent for non-essential technologies and provide available controls.
8. International processing
Wakepoint and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
